Welcome.  This is a place where I will introduce myself and my work as a fledgling author, lyricist, poet, artist and musician.

It is very much a work in progress, so thanks for visiting and do please call again.

Christmas Cold

It is so cold, the bones of my fingers were hurting.
But now, scarce minutes on, they hurt no more,
as sense, feeling, sensation are gone.

It is so cold, my throat and lungs contract, shudder, recoil.
I cough, and splutter, and gag and choke some more,
as I feel the Christmas cold.

And yet, there is a joy, a wild exhilaration.
My body, shocked, cannot defeat the lifting joy that swells,
as I reflect upon the warmth of Christmas.
